BE A WARRIOR FOR YOUR DREAMS

WE FIGHT FOR WHAT IS CLOSEST TO OUR HEARTS

Lili has been a dreamer and a fighter all her life.

The dream of Women’s Day Live and World Girl's Day is very much alive and ready to happen! Lili’s Epic Quest to fight for democracy and to help realize an equitable future for the world’s women and girls is now legendary. 9/11 forever changed the trajectory of her life.

A WOMAN OF VISION, ACTION & OUTRAGEOUS COURAGE

We all have to find the flowering of our humanitywe undertake the hero journey to share our love for humanity, to be of service, and to help the world evolve in the direction of lovemyths teach us that we are all heroes in waiting.
— Joseph Campbell

Lili Fournier is a transformational force — a spiritual warrior, visionary producer, humanitarian activist, and global women’s empowerment expert. For over three decades, she has dared to take on what others believed impossible, driven by a mission to protect the future of humanity through the empowerment of women and girls.

She is a woman who made six sacred vows that shaped a destiny of courageous impact:

  • To find the best father in the world for her children.
  • To travel the world.
  • To work in television and film.
  • To make "Television that Matters."
  • To fight for justice, peace, and freedom.
  • To produce Women's Day Live and World Girls Day — a global movement for women’s economic empowerment and girls’ education.

These vows demanded extraordinary courage, endurance, and faith. But Lili never wavered.

IGNITING GLOBAL MOVEMENTS THROUGH MEDIA THAT MATTERS

Lili created The Quest, a groundbreaking PBS series of specials that brought together the world's most beloved spiritual leaders and bestselling authors. It became a national phenomenon, starting with 12 markets to grow to reach 90 million households across North America, honored as the #1 personal growth product in the U.S. by Chiat Day, the ad agency behind Apple’s legendary “Think Different” campaign.

Her work wasn’t just media — it was a movement. A calling. A revolution of spirit, justice, and vision.

HEART IN ACTION: A GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN CAMPAIGN

When global hunger reached devastating levels, Lili stepped up. She envisioned the Heart in Action Global Benefit Concert — a worldwide mega-event to feed hungry children and their families, led by Emmy Award-winning partners, supported by the United Nations (UNOCHA), and ready to rally the world through music and media. To launch an International effort which is at the heart of the mission.

Her motto: "Never Give Up."
Her mission: To awaken the heart of humanity.
Her commitment: Total. Relentless. Unbreakable.

ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

Lili Fournier is a born innovator. In the 1970s, she managed The Dream Factory, Toronto’s iconic underground nightclub — a cultural hub akin to Studio 54. She went on to create Lili’s Gourmet, one of the city’s top gourmet shop, along with a luxury catering and exclusive gift basket business.

As a lifestyle columnist for The Toronto Sun, she was a popular media guest. She also became one of Toronto’s top-selling luxury real estate agents, known for her sharp instincts, signature flair and most successful negotiations. Her real estate column was followed avidly.

Her ventures reflect her fearless creativity, elegance, and passion for excellence

A TRUSTED LEADER IN WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT & GLOBAL STRATEGIST FOR PEACE

Lili was personally invited by President Clinton to make Women’s Day Live a Clinton Global Initiative commitment. She has honored that pledge for nearly 20 years, hoping to build one of the boldest global initiatives for women and girls in modern history. Equally passionate about fostering a culture of Peace, she proposed a broadcast of the Vancouver Peace Summit with His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and all the Peace Laureates. Everyone said it was impossible. She pitched it to the Network and negotiated the deal for a national broadcast across Canada. The world was enlightened 😊!

She has:

  • Advised visionary leaders, best Selling authors and the co-founder of the Dalai Lama’s Peace Center, Victor Chan.
  • Formally presented the Women’s Day Live vision to the White House, the State Department, the Chief of Staff for Prime Minister Trudeau.
  • Presented her mission to world leaders at the Club De Madrid Summits where she convened a plenary on harnessing 21st century solutions for women, both at President Clinton’s Library and in Azerbaijan. The Club de Madrid is a membership of former Presidents, Prime Ministers and Peace Laureates committed to spreading Democracy worldwide.
  • Secured support from UN Women, the President of the U.N. Assembly, and legendary CEOs like Jonathan Miller, Chair of AOL, who agreed to fund WDL. When AOL was shuttered, she got the support of Sir Martin Sorrel, the CEO of WPP, the largest advertising agency in the world, who helped her present to the heads of all the beauty brands at P&G who loved the vision of Women’s Day Live.

Invited alliances with nations, media giants, philanthropists, and billionaires.

  • Sir John Templeton encouraged Lili’s work with occasional notes. He was one of the world’s greatest investors and founder of the Templeton Prize. Lili is the only person he gave an extended interview to. When he died his son told Lili they had no video of him. She gifted him the four hours she had recorded with him. When he left the interview, he turned to Gerard and said I was a Missionary! Watch out!
  • She sparked plans for benefit concerts when she flew to Rio, India, N.Y., et al. She got a meeting with the Mayor of Rio who agreed to give her Copacabana Beach and TV Globo who agreed to produce. In India, she met with The Times Group Chair, Indu Chain, India’s biggest media conglomerate, who agreed to produce Women’s Day Live India! The great philanthropist Sir Ratan Tata agreed to help disburse the funds raised.
  • She proposed a “Singles Day”-style global shopping Festival on a personal meeting with Jack Ma and Jeff Bezos for International Women’s Day. Given the worldwide success of Singles Day, the idea is solid, and clearly could be used to generate a sustainable source of revenue for women and girls from all the global fashion and beauty brands.

When doors closed, she knocked again — while she built new doors.

A TRANSFORMATIONAL SPIRITUAL TEACHER

Lili is an empath, an intuitive, and a seer. She trained with global spiritual masters, wisdom keepers, shamans, and authors like Shakti Gawain who was the master of Creative Visualization. She foresaw 9/11, the Iraq War, the 2008 Recession, the rise of Global antisemitism and authoritarianism — and warned us. Continuously ringing the Alarm Bell with urgency.

Like Cassandra, her visions were true but often ignored. But she persisted. Because truth matters. Because the future matters.

“I want my girls to know why I gave away their inheritance. I wanted to save the future for all our children.”

“Victory is the only option. I value freedom and democracy above everything.”

A LIFE ROOTED IN JUSTICE, FREEDOM & LOVE

Growing up under an oppressive communist regime, Lili found herself as a little girl to be the wrong religion, gender and nationality. She experienced hate and persecution and always wondered why. No child should ever have to live with a daily dose of fear watching people being disappeared in the night, in this case to Siberia. She made a VOW as a child that when she grew up, she would try and do something about it. The dream of America burned brightly in her heart.

Her early life forged an unshakable commitment to freedomjustice, and the fight for democracy. She learned that when she was afraid, she had to be fearless — because fear was not an option.

“I play to win. Victory is the only option. I value freedom and democracy above everything. I would do whatever it takes to protect it.”

I could not have done any of these ventures that required me to get up and down planes without the support of my magnificent man who is the noblest and wisest man who ever graced this planet, my darling Gerard." He and I were footloose adventurers who circled the globe together after university.

He had a stroke last year, which was heartbreaking beyond measure. He’d never been ill a day in his life. It made me realize a hard truth, that I have always put my mission ahead of my own family. He not only let me gamble our future on this mission but supported it every step of the way. I just could not give up, knowing the existential threat to our future that was coming closer everyday.

I am the most grateful person in the world that he is alive. I cherish every moment that I get to be in his arms, where I feel secure and cared for. I’ve seen how the teachings I live by, have helped me through this shock trauma. These moments forge us into stronger more compassionate people. We are rising, as we always do.

I always feel like I have not done enough. But now I can walk into my home and feel justified. I don’t want to live in a heartless world. I believe in the energy, power and spirit of the people to finally see the truth and rise up to meet this consequential moment. That is my reason for hope.

This is our moment of truth as a human family.
