LILI FOURNIER is Visionary thought leader, Social Justice Activist, Philanthropist and award-winning Filmmaker and Lifestyle Columnist. She played a pioneering role in making the mind body spirit paradigm mainstream and advancing the human potential movement on broadcast television. She hosted, produced, and directed the highly successful Quest series of specials which aired on PBS for over a decade.

She was given a prophetic vision on 9/11 of this dystopian future where our rights, freedom and democracy would be threatened. A man would come into power who would pose an existential threat to humanity. Divide and conquer was a totalitarian playbook she knew well. She grew up in an oppressive communist regime. Tyranny was knocking. It was just a question of time.

As a passionate advocate for the limitless potential of women and girls, she produced a 3- hour Women of Wisdom and POWER special, and did a live 2-hour pledge show with WLIW/WNET in N.Y. with Lynne Twist and Eria Jong as her guests to celebrate the power of women’s leadership. The shows had such a resounding response from women across the U.S. that she determined to use the power of media, celebrity and technology to help accelerate unprecedented investment in the advancement of women.

Thus, was born the idea of producing Women’s Day Live. As in Live Aid women. An annual global celebration of women on International Women’s Day to build a sustainable source funding, and a powerful global communications platform for global advocacy and to align women’s voices, power and leadership.

Her challenging lifelong mission, what she calls her “magnificent obsession” began with a VOW which she made on an empty Washington Mall, on the first flight allowed to land in D.C. post 9/11. She would have a plan in place to help save our freedom and the future of democracy. No matter what it would take. She’s kept her pledge.

It has taken outrageous courage to act on the power of her convictions. She left a highly successful career to dedicate her life to the mission to produce Women’s Day Live. She’s come close five times to pulling off this Live Global Mega-Shed Charity Concert.

She went full time in 2010. Lili worked 24/7 in a volunteer role in highly stressful situations to achieve this vision. Her magnificent man, the love of her life, supported her lifelong mission. Who spends 15 years of their life and gives away all their money to achieve such a mission?

It has cost her no less than everything. In the summer, of 2024 she suffered a devastating blow when he almost died from a stroke. He had never been sick a day in his life. She worked throughout this shock trauma and heartbreak to try and make the World Girls Day Benefit Concert happen on October 11, 2024, to invigorate and excite the youth movement to ensure a massive voter turn out. She had a world class Emmy Award winning execution team. Given the stakes could not be higher she was shocked that no one stepped up with the funding for what would be the most consequential election in history. Could they not see what was coming?

Only people who have experienced what it is like to live without freedom fully appreciate the preciousness of it. “Some things are worth fighting for and dying for.

Tragically, everyone of her prophetic visions have come true.
